Facebook New Design:Titan project: What’s new?

Facebook Updated the new design and they named this project internally as Titan project. Any one who can see Facebook new interface can easily figure out lots of changes at one go. The major difference in new interface is accessibility. On Internet world, less click means more page views and more time on Site.

Me, myself and my Blog on Facebook

If you are a blogger and a have a facebook account the one question you might be stuck with is; What should you do with your Facebook profile? When I joined rtBlogs as an Editor I thought that maybe I should have two facebook accounts. One personal and the other for bloggers who might want to connect.

I started adding bloggers who I thought I might want to connect with on Facebook and let me say I was a bit disappointed.

Facebook’s new retweet like ‘via’ feature is now active

You might be familiar with  the share button of Facebook by which you can share any post on facebook posted by your friends, any group or a page. But the main disadvantage of this feature was that the original contributor was not shown with the shared content.

FarmVille collections: New FarmVille feature

FarmVille Collections is a new feature of FarmVille in which you can collect things like Gardening tool, bugs e.t.c. To collect these you have to play FarmVille and perform it’s various tasks that you usually do like Plowing, Harvesting, Fertilizing and Gifting items to your friends. These Collections can be found in your giftbox and to see your own collection click on the ‘Ribbons’ near your giftbox icon and select collections.

Reply to your Emails to Comment on your Facebook Status

If you use Facebook and have activated the “Email notifications” feature to receive emails for any comments on your status messages then you will probably love this feature. You can now comment on any of your status updates simply by replying to the Email notification that you receive from Facebook when your friends comment on it.

Man escapes from prison and updates his Facebook page

This one is sort of interesting and also a little funny. There is a man who has escaped from prison and has started updating his Facebook profile. His name is Craig Lynch and over a month now he has been taunting the police putting up details on his Facebook account about various activities he carries out all day.

At the time of writing this post his Facebook page has over 1800 fans and many people actually supporting him for the fact that he is dodging the police.

Facebook creator was in Pune, India

Facebook creator Mark Zuckerberg has been holidaying in India. That’s not a biggie, but he was apparently in Pune. rtBlogs office is located in Pune.

So there was a bit of excitement that the fountainhead of Facebook was in the same city we were. He visited the Osho Ashram which is a commune for meditation. Now I was more excited as Osho Commune was in the same locality where rtBlogs office is located.

He was in India for over a week and left on 5th on Jan.
